Electropration microneedling collagen induction

Electroporation Microneedling

Electroporation microneedling

Electroporation microneedling is a skin treatment process by which the skin is punctured to initiate a healing response, thus giving amazing rejuvenating effects. We are using the first-ever medical-grade electroporation microneedling device that further facilitates the absorption of nutrients into the target skin tissue to give an enhanced rejuvenating effect. The device can achieve up to 5,000 high-speed vibrations per minute to trigger repair. We have been conducting microneedling procedures for many years, and our client’s experience is results-based. The traditional roller method has limitations that can be overcome with microneedling electroporation, such as targeting closer to the eye and being able to treat the nose and upper lip more efficiently.

What does electropration microneedling treat?

  • Suitable for rejuvenating the skin/for refreshment by boosting the skin tissue to give a healthier composition. Overall, improving skin texture, and tone, enhances clarity, giving an overall brighter complexion.
  • Anti-ageing: firming fine lines and wrinkles, by increasing collagen and elastin fibre presence. These naturally decrease with expressions or time.
  • Improves/diminishes acne and surgical scarring.
  • Reduces pore size and prevalence.
  • Improves/diminishes stretch marks.
  • Reduced skin laxity/improves the tightness of the skin.

Please note. Results vary from person to person, and the above images reflect what can be achieved. Multiple treatments are often required to achieve the desired results. Your therapist endeavours to offer advice throughout the treatment process and course.

How does Electroporation Microneedling work?

The treatment uses a microneedling device that has 33G sterile needles that are ultra-sharp to cause micropunctures in the skin tissue, inducing a wound-healing mechanism within the skin. This process is known as dermal remodelling and involves increasing fibroblast production, yielding more collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycans & cytokines. Glycosaminoglycans have many roles; one is supporting other structural proteins within the skin. Cytokines are essential in controlling the growth, and immune and inflammatory responses within tissues. In effect, the skin is stimulated to repair and create better skin tissue.

Electroporation microneedling further enhances the regenerative potential of the target skin tissue by sending an electrical field into the deeper skin layers to increase the permeability of cell membranes. We can apply a range of topicals to the skin area during treatment, depending on your skin sensitivity or requirements that are introduced into cells more efficiently. Therefore boosting the natural healing process that the microneedling has stimulated.

What can I expect during my treatment?

The treatment time is usually at least 1.5 to 2 hours. You will be given a brief consultation to allow you to ask any questions before treatment. The skin will be cleansed, and topical nutrients will be applied before the procedure. The electroporation microneedling treatment will be performed over the requested area. During treatment, it is pretty standard for tiny droplets of blood to be released from the target area. Odema (swelling), burning sensation, and erythema (redness/flushing) are typical side effects observed during skin tissue repair’s wound healing initiative phase.

How many sessions will I need?

Typically, it is recommended to have a course of treatments (anything from 6+ treatments) to achieve the full benefits of the treatment. However, some individuals may have more or less depending on their requirements/reason for treatment. Healthy skin can have electroporation microneedling, to feel firmer and brighter complexions. Your therapist will advise you of a recommendation of treatment number and interval, depending on what you would like to achieve. The minimum interval for facial areas is four weeks, and for body areas is six weeks.

How much does it cost?
